Sigh. Drip. Pour.By the way, the sun image at the top is a complete lie. It’s coming down like cats and dogs at the moment.p.s. The jibberish in the background is work. I should get back to it.
1. HDR2. Photos that aren’t photos3. Photos with drippy poetry (oh, GOD, that’s awesome “Oh, malachite, so shiny, so bright \ Glimmering in the morning light”) or meaningless aphorisms on them or near them.4. Narcissistic, pseudo-emotional self-portraits, almost all females. This isn’t LiveJournal, kids.5. The lack of any meaningful criticism. I can’t count the number [...]
The Spoons – “Nova Heart (Redanka Mix)” (good luck finding that track. I can’t. I only have a partial track from a stream rip.) Celldweller – “Switchback (Elevation and Kenneth Thomas Remix” Both are progressive trance/male vocals that sound about 2-3 years old, but still good.
Audi Drops Originally uploaded by lyzadanger. Brrr. It’s foggy as hell out there today. Mornings are starting to be accompanied by heavy dew, rain or both. This photo of drops on my (clearly obsessively-waxed before my purchase) car makes a good desktop background. Let me know if you need it in higher resolution than my [...]
This is a bit extreme and weird. A pelican in a London park swallowed a pigeon whole. Apparently it was still thrashing around intra-pelican after being swallowed. Shudder.

Here’s a downtempo gem to throw in the mix. And I’m not going to talk about what kind of search string got me to the name of this song. Bent is fairly decent, if a bit inoffensive/tame, in general. Bent, “Cylons in Love” (circa 2000-ish) Their album “Ariels” is also nice if you like the [...]
This one is probably my favorite of the list here: Team SR, “Leaving London” It’s really damned hard to find (especially in any legal sense), but it is on Judge Jules’ “Judgment Sundays” compilation.
Snow Patrol, “Chasing Cars (Topher & Blake Jarrell Remix)” A bit retro-trancey but good enough.
The new Killers album is somewhat of a disappointment for me, but Jacques Lu Conts “Thin White Duke Radio Edit” of “When You Were Young” is worth a listen and some bopping. It’s not the damned-near-perfection that his remix of Mr. Brightside is, but, well, it will do the trick.
