Kea Evangeline

Aileen and Kes created a new human being at 4:30pm this Saturday (the 24th). Kea Evangeline was 7 lbs., 15 oz. and sprung forth easy as pie (“That was a lot easier than I expected.” — Aileen).
Mr. Pencil and I got the pleasure of seeing Kea when she was less than an hour old (and mom in remarkably normal condition! How does she do that?).
Sunday (the 25th) was also Aileen’s 30th birthday. Many events, one weekend.
Everyone’s at home now, healthy and sound. Some more early photos can be had here.
