The low points are: * Occasionally lackluster autofocus * No actual viewfinder–just the giant LCD screen (most people aren’t bugged by this, I’m peculiar in that way) * Any ISO above 400 is basically unusable (noise), so it’s not an ideal low-light camera–but its flash is pretty decent
Also, to get it to do what I want I spend a fair amount of time twiddling with manual settings; not sure how awesome it would be in full-automatic mode :).

Hmmm, my last comment sounded negative because I only listed the bad things!
Great things are:
* Really good color and resolution at low ISOs * Tons of great manual and SLR-like options * 16:9 makes your photos look like heroes * It does video at 1280xsomething (16:9) at 15fps which is pretty impressive * Pretty intuitive interface * It “feels” nice-quality * Nearly instant-on, which is good for power-saving (I just turn it off everytime I’m done taking a picture)
(Oh, and you can instantly switch from 16:9 to 3:2–standard 35mm ratio–and even 4:3 if you are so inclined).
Looks pretty gosh-darn-stinkin’ good to me.
Would you recommended I get one?
Generally, yes.
